Compliant Mechanism Maze Game
The compliant mechanism was designed by BYU Compliant Mechanism Research group. It was designed to point, thrusters, antennas, and other aerospace equipment for NASA.
Materials/Tools
3D Printer
Filament
Hot Glue (or any other type of glue)
Hobby Knife
Needle Nose Pliers
Mini Ball Bearing
Step 1: Download and Print Files
Click the "3D Files on Thingiverse" button below. Download and print all three files at their current scale. Click the "Compliant Mechanism 3D File on Thingiverse" button below. Download "pointer_mech_original.STL" which was designed by BYU Compliant Mechanism Research group. Scale the mechanism up so its longest dimension is 5 centimeters and print.
Step 2: Clean Prints
Use the hobby knife and/or the needle nose pliers to clean all the 3D printed parts. Be careful when cleaning the compliant mechanism because it is very fragile and can break easily.
Step 3: assemble all parts
